may as well start a 12/12 thread.  i just finished it off.  the hardest achievement is definitely the one for finishing the game with one continue, but because the online play has some very significant problems, the achievement for finishing the game in online co-op also became a chore.  cool game, terrible net code.

So you dont have to beat the game with 1 life, just have to do it without using a continue?? If thats the case, DAMNIT I have been restarting after my first death! Crap!!

nice^^ - without dying will be very hard (ok, if you have played several games, it will goes on that way).

ok, you dont have one continue - i just finished the game and loosing only 1 life (by the last boss) and didnt received the achivement - so i will work on it to get it (has 15 lifes left - my two other tries i have had 14 lifes left)

you must do it with only 1 life (in the achivement describtion stand: 1 credit) and i just beat the game again with my first continue (but loosing 2 lifes) and no achivement.

So only the best players will get this. I will try again

The one credit took a while, I got really pissed some times.

But the most frustrating for sure was finishing the online co-op, I'm glad im not the only one having issues. The game completely craps out about mid-way.

And about the 1 credit achievement... Its what it says, you have to NOT use a continue, but you CAN die. I did many times and got it.

I think you're not getting it Croft Master because you're being a little cheater and you're using the Code (how did you manage to get 15 lives if not?), which obviously blocks the achievement.

I did think about it before that what if you just sat there killing enemys that keep coming and get Lifes then try for it
It would just take all time geting points get them -_-
tho this idea would work better with a Turbo
other then that I no idea how he could get them

Strangely enough I didn't encounter any problems with co-op at all.  The only problem me and my friend had was that we didn't get the achiemvents even though we beat the game!  We finally realized that you had to get them in public match not a private one.  Sweet game though.  Later.

I used to play this game in the arcade alot (damn i'm getting old) and i soon got back into it.

Got 12/12 today some time ago. And yes, the using only 1 creadit IS the hardest one, rest go by pretty easily with some training.

And if you're not getting the achievment, you're not either playing in default mode, or have used a continue. But you CAN die and get the achievment though.

The Bulletproof achievement was the hardest skill wise but it took 2 tries to get the Partnership one as it didn't unlock the first time for some reason...

Edit: And to clarify, it IS complete the game without continuing for Bulletproof, I was on my last life when I unlocked it lol!

And for a few little secrets:

1.) If you're having trouble getting any of the tunnels in under the certain time, you can let the time run out (it will kill you) but when you respawn, the timer resets. So you could be in the last room of the tunnel, let the timer run out, respawn with the reset timer and then blow it up and still get the achievement.

2.) Your partner does not have to be alive to get the co-op achievement. I just finished it, and my partner died around the snow level. I finished the game from then on (I think I died twice the entire game) and I got the achievement. He didn't, though, so if you're nice I guess you could continue restarting. :)
