I don't understand why the mods and MS are deleting threads about the problems with the 360...like all my posts have disappeared about the stories as to why I am on my 7th xbox......My post from last night has been deleted......It's as if they are engaging in revisionist history.But,the truth is out there..and the people know......

If you have a problem with the way things are run on this forum, then leave.  Nobody is making you stay.

Dude, moderators don't usually lock or delete these kinds of threads. I see a lot of these complaint threads go on for at least 20 pages, some even more than that. A lot of the time people stick these complaints in the wrong section, or there are multiple threads on the same topic (this happens a lot), or moderators see something in the thread that can potentially turn chaotic - That is why they lock or delete them.

Agreed - It's easy to look at the negative and complain - but coming up with good positive topics and posts are sometimes challenging. Deac is one of the few that can actually make a really positive thread that most everyone likes- like the XB360 Laws.

To Deac and the other Mods - Cheers!

Hope there's enough for at least 1 beer per mod - if too little, add as many as needed and put it on my tab - if too much, have a second! Just be sure to drive safely!

It has happened to me.  Three times.  Is that enough for you?  The difference between me and you is that I don't feel the need to post about it every time it happens.  I have enough common sense to know that there is nothing to be gained by complaining on the Xbox forums.

And for Rham-  I understand where you coming from.  I just think that everyone here is taking this issue a little to serious.  The mods aren't out to get anybody.  They are here to  maintain order on the boards.  If everyone was able to post what they wanted, I would not want to come here anymore.  I would be tired of seeing "3 red lights" "PS3 is teh suckz0rz" and other such threads.  I am glad that the mods lock all those stupid, pointless posts.  Microsoft has already acknowledged that there is issues with the system and they have taken steps to fix that problem.  As far as your problem with goverland I don't really know where that stems from, so it isn't my business to comment on that.

Just ignore him - he's been reported for singling me out, and not letting things drop. He says I threatened him, when I fact I warned him to stop in a PM. The way he speaks to others just is not acceptable. Like the way he spoke to DirtyDiva and singled her out. I don't know what his deal is, but he just likes to argue and confront other people like they're wrong and he's right.

BTW - I blocked all future messages from him - I have no interest in communicating with him again, and that goes for here too. Whatever he says - I wouldn't put too much credit in it.

I see your point also........but let me ask you. If we hadn't all complained,do you think MS would have ever taken any action?.....And letting up will just let them know that things are OK....Things are not  OK...Elite owners are having issues also..

will it get better eventually?....I'm sure,one of these days,it will improve.....but the heatsink's are NOT the final cure....the boxes are still suffering drive problems........and I don't see that covered by MS.......
