great faq.  My question is how long is the solo campaign?  I am thinking it is around 5hours +/-, but looking for more info.  On a preview site, it was stated the guy had the game for 2 days - he played the campaign fully twice, and played loads of firefight.  So based on that not sure how long to expect to be playing the campaign.  thoughts?

Quick question. I know that the game comes with the Halo 3 maps. I don't have Halo 3 anymore, but I might get ODST. Can I get ODST and play multiplayer against people playing Halo 3?

ODST comes with a second disc just containing Halo 3's multiplayer and you could play against people using the original Halo 3 disc.

i believe its the first disk that you can install on your hard drive, and the one that you can not install is the second disk because of its multiplayer.

I have a good question. Let's say 4 people have the Sgt. Johnson code, exactly how many people online can play as him? Can all four players in firefight play as Sgt. Johnson?

I am not 100% sure, I think you all can play as him though, it shouldn't matter since there are no character-specific power ups or anything.

To Install or Not To Install?
I know this was asked by Warrior... before. Short version: Install first disc and don't install second disc.
I think this was also mentioned by Bungie on their August 14 weekly update on bungie.net
Does anyone know what Bungie's long and detailed explanation is? Even though I probably won't understand it that much, I would like to read their own words in this matter. Please and thank you.

there hasn't been any news about it. i believe that splosion man the arcade game has an award in it but it needs a patch for it. i hope this helps.
