I think he is talking about this or this.
Except for the recent comments, I think we all agree on one thing and that is "racism, genderism, and descrimination are all wrong."
The points of disagreement are:
- We can/can't do anything about it
- Muting/filing complaints is/is not enough
- There is/is not a better system out there
I can see both sides on this. One side believes that MS is doing all it can, the other believes it should be doing more because racism and genderism, as well as lifestyle choices are basic human rights that should be defended in all forms. I think you will find that those who feel MS should step up, are also fighting for equality in everyday life, and not just on Live.
To the comments about how boring it would be if everyone played nice, you may be right. Go ahead and trash talk, nobody is saying not to do that. That's all fair in competition. Chris Carter from the Vikings was rumored to be so good at talking smack that he could make someone cry without ever even uttering a single swear word at them. On the other side, ask John Rocker, Howard Cossell, and Don Imus how their "slip ups" worked out for them.
I do want to say thank you for keeping this a (mostly) civil discussion as well, it's a rarety on any forum.
