I put in PGR2 for the first time in like a year and forgot good ways to learn Kudos, I earn like 50 when I pass someone, or do a small slide in the corner but nothing else. I thought I saw someone mention combos, but I am not sure how they work, can someone fill me in?

 

 

you've got to link different moves, such as a slide, overtake, good line, or 360.  you have about 2 seconds to start the next thing in the combo.  hope that helps.  maybe somebody else can explain it a little better.

I just got this game 2 days ago (PGR2) and I have figured out a few good ways. Try to get good lines on the curves which will sometimes only give you 1 or 2 Kudos or sometimes 30 of em. Another good way is to get a fast time and try not to hit any of the walls. It gives you 250 if you do a clean race. Try to get combos though. The cone challanges are great for getting Kudos. You can combo so much stuff at once in those.

and to get massive kudos during the cone challenges, set the difficulty to easy so that way you get a gang of time.  and then just do 360s through a cone gate.  just be sure to finish the race in order to get those kudos.

stear left and right and go around in circles. you will get loads of point for sliding, (depending on time, 1 min will give you around 30000) i am not the best in sliding around circles, mabe someone else will give you mmore details. have a look at the top 10 ghost, they did it pretty well.

I know this thread is old, but what the heck.

It's all about the car and the track.  The best car for kudos is the Porsche 911 GT1. The best tracks for kudos are as follows...

1. Edinburgh:  Lothian Eight Long
2. Sydney:  Down Town Short (the best track in the game for kudos, most kudos per minute)
3. Moscow:  Kremlin 2
4. Washington D.C.:  Capitol Thrill
5. Stockholm:  Island Hop (this tack has the most opportunity for kudos, but it takes a long time)

As far as technique goes, faster is better.  If you go too slow and slide around you miss linking combos and you won't get the full 50 points for a Good Line.  It's all about the balance between speed and style.
