Post if your WIRELESS headset is not working

All you have to do is put a #...so the first poster put 1 and so on.  Give us an idea of the running total.  Do NOT post comments or questions.  Figure if we get a few hundred people then MS cannot ignore these issues.

Post your number if you experience any of the following issues:

  • Disconnections and shortened range
  • Extreme feedback and sensitivity
  • Syncing problems (after trying correctly)
  • The infamous "humming/buzzing"

 

After you finish posting make sure you read down and edit the number so it's showing the correct # incase it was mistaken (someone posted while you did).  Thanks and I'm going to try and keep track of the people with issues on a site also.  I'm going to put a placeholder link in this thread now but it probably won't work yet.

I get all the problems:

  • disconnects
  • feedback
  • stuck on any position other than 1
  • short distance from system to remain semi-functional (<10 ft)

I bought a Japanese version to use on my hk version 360. The problem with my headset is that after I sync with my xbox, channel 2 light was on for both my console n headset.  However, the headset does nothing at all, no humming or buzzing, it seems to me that the mic is not working at all.......

#19 ...Mine just died, and boy am i pissed about it because Rainbow is in my tray and i wanted to play that game fully wireless, (by the way that game is sweet just what the X360 needed) anyways, i can't turn it on, or charge it, and it was working fine yesterday and now NOTHING, either microsoft have children in asia somewhere making these things or they are using cheap components and charging us big dollars for cheap products, WHATEVER HAPPEN TO QUALITY CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!Angry [:@]

mine is just sitting here now, gave up on it for now... can't return it, past the 14 day store return policy.. don't care to use it in its existing problems.. i can see forthcoming a update to correct issues, so till then it'll just sit around.

everything works fine with mine accept the cutting out. i am good for about 5-10 min. then it cuts out for a second and back on. randomly does this and not for long periods. i hear the beep in my ear a few times an hour, and i am not even moving around. my range is pretty good.
