I left my console on to download overnight. Why did it shut down?
You may have auto-off enabled. This turns off your console after 6 hours of inactivity. To turn this feature off, on the System blade, select Console Settings, Auto-Off, Disable Auto-Off.
Why did downloads stop during my game or while using Windows Media Center?
Background downloading will pause if your game connects to Xbox Live, or if you open Media Center on your console. This is to ensure optimal network performance for games and Media Center. Downloads can occur in the background while you watch a movie, listen to music, chat, or play an offline game.
How do I resume video playback?

What happens when I preview video while playing music on my console?
Music will continue to play if you select previews within Video Marketplace. To stop the music, press the Xbox Guide button on your controller, then pause or stop the music on the Xbox Guide.
I downloaded a video overnight but when I checked later there was no video remaining in my download queue and that video was not listed for playback? What happened and what about my points?
During the launch of Video Marketplace there was an overwhelming demand from users for the service. For some users their downloads did not finish successfully and the download was canceled. For all types of videos besides Movie Rentals, users can locate that item again in the Video Marketplace and download again. Users will not be charged points again for this and the video will be brought down from the service.
For Movie Rentals, re-downloading will charge users for points. You can see if your were charged twice for the same item by going to https://billing.microsoft.com/points.aspx and clicking "Microsoft Points" in the "Stored Credits" area. If you were charged in error a second time for the same movie rental, call Xbox Support at 1-800-4My-Xbox to have those points refunded to you.
