Hi ... just wanted to document this for anyone having this connection problem.
It used to work for me too but we haven't used Music Mixer in ages (over a year) .... anyhoo ... something in XP broke this program. Not sure if it's Media Player 10 or a security fix or something else ...
To get round this I installed a fresh copy of XP (and didn't do any updates).
Works great. Problem solved.
Called Microsoft XBox support and they don't know what exactly broke the PC tool.
Kind of a drastic fix for some people I know. I have Virtual PC so it's not too hard to re-install a fresh copy of XP.
