Here's the spot to discuss the This Week in Xbox column, which comes to you every Wednesday on the Games page here on Xbox.com. Each week, I cover which games are shipping for the Xbox, hot Xbox Live events, and more. If you want to talk about the games covered in this week's column, suggest a topic you'd like to see covered in a future column, or just talk Xbox happenings, this is the place. Anything's game except for snarky comments on column photo. They held me at gunpoint and made me pose that way, I swear.
Lol, well it looks like you're advertising a new 360 sweater... that or MS is releasing a new line of pinup calenders.
I don't suppose we have answers to the H3 questions? Ohh'well. I may get Viva Pinata after christmas after hearing such great things about it. It seems like a nice break from GoW and BF2:mc.I havent tried RoboBlitz, but is it worth the points? I enjoy most puzzel games myself, but checking out the product info, it really doesnt tell us much about the game. I mean every sensetence says physcis, unique, innovative, or some related synonym. Is there just no clear way to describe these unique innovateing physics? Any chance we'll be seeing shipping news for "Blue Dragon"?

XNA is a program that goes with Visual Studio Express. You can make your own xbox 360 games, then play them on your 360. There is a monthly or yearly fee to do this, but you can make your own games, which is awesome.

Thats what I'd like to know too.
Hiya kids,Sorry it's taken so long to respond here. Between the Great Power Outage of 2006 and the holidays, life's been crazy. To answer a few questions:xxTheGunslingerx: When anything's officially announced about Blue Dragon's ship date, you'll see it on the Xbox.com Games page. Nothing has been announced yet for the US market.InSaNe H34D6HOT: GameSpot's a great site -- I used to do some writing for them. While there are differences between a site like Xbox.com and GameSpot, we do plan to add even more info about individual Xbox games this year. More tips, more strategies, more behind-the scenes info, etc. And I'm watching the forums to see what people want from the site.ruiner02970: I guess I've just had better luck with matchmaking in Uno. :) So far everyone's been fun and polite. I have heard a few stories, though, so I understand where you're coming from.rite of passage: Once any downloadable content is announced for Gears, you'll definitely see a story on the Xbox.com home page or Games page.ZenJD: Mac OS users definitely aren't intentionally left out. Apple's WMV9 component won't work? If there's a problem, it may be the MMS configuration in the web browser, or no suitable player for ASX/WMV files on the system. Alas, it's been a year or so since I passed on my iBook G4, but I know with a few plugins, the Mac version of Windows Media Player installed, and VLC Media Player, I could play just about anything on the web.
ohh zemmama wrote:what are microsoft points and how do i get them???? thanks in advance
You can find the full scoop on Microsoft Points at this here page. You can buy them in batches and use them to buy Arcade games, downloadable add-on content for your games, themes, gamer pics, songs from the Zune store, and various other things.
Note to be confused with the points on your Gamerscore, which are only redeemable by your ego. :)
The great thing about Viva Pinata is that it's appropriate for smaller kids (you can even help them play using a second controller), but it's also a surprisingly good strategy game for teens and adults. There's a lot of depth there that you don't see in "kid" games.
I was surprised how addictive I found it.
yup
