I bought Pariah around March, to play on my Xbox 360.
All said and done I thought it was a 1/2 decent game.
I was planning to play it through recently, but Microsoft had other plans.
It no longer works on the British Xbox 360.
Not just on my system, I've tried it on 2 other consoles, all of which are Live enabled (Including mine).
This is the up-to-date list: UK Backwards Compatibility List.
It's still on there, so why won't it work?
I had the same problem with Project Zero, which has been on the list since I've owned my Xbox 360. But it has never worked. For some reason it is now listed under the US title of Fatal Frame.
The sequel Project Zero (Fatal Frame) II: Crimson Butterfly works fine, although the cut scenes have sound syncing issues.
I have started threads about it but no help, even from the support team.
Why do games work before an update then suddenly stop after?
I'm getting tired with this. Does Microsoft think this is a game, are they even interested in pleasing the consumer, will they ever complete a glitch free, complete backwards compatibility patch?
I'm not saying they're better but, Sony is boasting there backwards compatibility works.
Surely Microsoft doesn’t want to be out done.
Come on Microsoft get it in to gear, you're disappointing a lot of gamers.
