I am trying to pass a certian bit in the game bit need to press the (Black) button. The Xbox 360 controller doesn't have this. Anyone know what to do?

Nope, it definetly says the "Black" button. It's an Xbox 1 game so it may never work correctly on the Xbox 360 unless you use the Xbox 1 controller, which im not sure you can do either.

The black button is either the left or right bumper on the 360 controller. I think its the left bumper but it might be right.

On Halo 2 I always hear them say press the white button to talk which is the left bumper so I think the right bumper is the black button.

It's either the left or right bumper on your controller.

The left bumper is the white button, the right bumper is the black button.  (if you intend to use a cheat, you definitly need to know which is which)

I was stuck on this too for a couple minutes but it turns out it's the top buttons closest to the front of the controller, LB and RB that when you hold them both down make spyro do the special move he needs to pass the level. So hope that helps! Worked for me...
