There are some MLS teams who if put in the PL could survive at least 3-4 seasons. I'm confident of that, even if FIFA has em all rated like 2 stars.

They'd be relegated by xmas!! Darren Huckerby is tearing the MLS up right now according to my cousin and he couldn't cut it in the premier league when he was in his prime and the league is even better now than when he played. The MLS teams would struggle to survive in League 2, poor coaching, lack of investment in development, recruiting over the hill players are just a few reasons why the MLS is considered to be a bit of a mickey mouse league.

Did anyone watch the Chicago/Columbus playoff match last night?

It was really a terrific game and a prime example of how far the MLS has come and how it is really turning into a nice little league.

Game on Saturday night should be a good one, too. Red Bulls are on a roll, and I wouldn't be surprised if they beat RSL, and then give the Crew a run for their money in the final.

I'd love to support MLS only if my city had a team. I heard that Barcelona is opening a franchise in Miami which is cool, but still far away from me.

Rumours are out there that the big wigs at Barca are trying to set-up an affiliate club in Miami, much the same way Chivas did in LA. I'm cool with MLS returning to Florida, as long as they ditch "Barcelona" from the team name and crest. We don't need another cheap imitation team in this league! (Sorry Chivas USA fan)

ill watch the MLS games from time to time. Only reason why....cause my brother and I played with a couple different players in the Mls. I find it boring to watch. Same with most south american leagues (exception Argentina). But if you seriously believe Blanco is the best player in the Mls ...all I can say is wow. He is a good player, a really good actor(chicago vs. red bulls). I guess he could be close to best with Jozy Altidore leaving the league for better things. But the MLS is a young league.....every league out there started off low like the MLS. It needs better coaching, more money, and affiliate clubs. Thats what will push the league forward, and make it more competitive. Hopefully it some day can compete with the Barclays division and some of the other great league's. I don't think any one who knows football could actually think the MLS is a great league. I hope no one truly believes the MLS is great. It could be.....but its not yet. Has some good players.....but most of the better go to england, spain, france, or italy to play with the best.

I am a fan of ReAL Salt Lake.. Because I live here, and they just made a very nice new stadium in which the MLS All-Star game will be held there, along with a few qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup.

MLS is a decent league that is improving, but don't take a preseason friendly too serious. Clubs like Everton use them to build up fitness and to give squad players a run out.

Well, Real Salt Lake can't go to Europe to play, so the pre-season had best been taken seriously by both clubs especially when Everton is in a league like the EPL.
