Funny how these are all characters from the modern FF's. Nobody mentions characters like Cyan, Sabin, Edgar, characters from VI that were much more dynamic than the modern FF's. Especially the transition that takes place in the character of shadow towards the ending. You guys be more analytical about this, play FFVI. You won't regret it.

Cyan was useless,sabin was a beast with his bumrush blitz,edgar owns with the drill tool,shadow was ok. Other then that compared to other final fantasy characters like squal,auron and cloud they aint even in there league hehehe no offense. Cyans sucks no offense his sword techs take forever to load and the only thing hes good for in that game is nothing.

my favs were zidane, vivi, wakka and auron

Squall, Rikku, Yuffie, and all the Cid's, Biggs's and Wedge's.

Cyan was useless? EVERY character contributed to the plot in that game. Whatever doesn't really matter what i'll say, some folks just don't like the old titles i guess.

Good : Barrett, Zell
Bad : Sephiroth

Good : Cloud (oh how original) Vivi, Yuna, Tidus

Bad : Sephiroth. Even 10+ years after his release hes still Iconic. Also Jecht.... but arguably not a bad guy. Summon: Bahamut (always good, his multiple forms in FF7 were great and I loved being able to play as him in FFX) Anima was also awesome.

Sephiroth, hands down. Albeit a little feminine (What SE character isn't?), he's still bad quantum singularity.

My fav. character from FINAL FANASTY series, is VINCENT from FF7! He is a vampire, you know

Cloud, Vincent, Tidus, Auron, Jecht even though he was non-playable loved his attitude, Basch, Cid (VII), Wakka. There are a lot that i like, but my least Fav. is Paine.

Cait Sith and Cloud (i have 2 tattoo's of cloud).

Cait Sith? Really?  That's possibly the 2nd worst character in the FF universe, behind only Quena.
