How about Jr. Pacman next!!
Jr. Pacman would be a great addition to the Pacman fans for the next release. I have only been able to find it a couple of times in the arcade a very awsome game.

Agreed!  Jr. Pac-Man would be a great addition to XLA.  I can always find tons of Pac and Ms. Pac machines at auctions around here, but it's pretty hard to find a Jr.  I loved that one.
I'm posting in online forums ... somebody shoot me.

Re: How about Jr. Pacman next!!

Since I own an atari and all 3 pac-man games, I must say... Ms. Pac-man was amazing. (so i dl on the 360). Pac-Man was ok (so I dl on the 360) however... Pac-Man junior sucked so bad... why would anyone want to dl and play it, except to say, "you have the pac-man family together". Junior really isn't / wasn't very good.

Samotny, we're talking about the arcade versions, not the version on the Atari.

I am well aware of that... but the differances in arcade and system weren't that insane. (not talking about newer arcades that were on nes, snes, sega, genisis etc...) Though I admit I played pac-man on atari & arcade, ms. pac-man on atari & arcade, i only ever played jr. on atari... but it just wasn't impressive or fun like the other two. I would almost say it would be a waste to make a dl pac-man jr. game.

Jr. Pacman was insanely fast.  And I loved the scrolling screen and bigger maps.  I'd definitely buy it.

They should make a huge game with all the different kinds of Pacmans in one.  Now, that would be nice.

Thank You.  I am glad that someone feels the same way.  I love all the modern games but have always been a PacMan nut.  Bring any of them on However JR.PACMAN is a jem seldom found.  I would love for it to be brought to live.  In fact lets start the Petition Now!  YOU ever play PacMan Pinball? that is probably the most rare, Part pinball part pacman game.  I think you were actually a baby pacman.  In Fact the game was called Baby PacMan and it was a playable screen with a pinball game on it.  Sick

Yes!  I was just trying to think of the name of that one.  I loved Baby Pac back in the day.  It'd be interesting to see how they'd implement the switch from the table to the screen if they brought Baby Pacman to XBLA.   Jr. was great as well.  If I remember correctly the screen would scroll to the left and right.  I wonder if they'd retain that or just show the whole map since you can do that with today's wide screen displays.

Re: How about Jr. Pacman next!!
Namco never authorized Jr. Pac-Man or Baby Pac-Man (the pinball one)...those were created by Bally Midway without consent and ultimately resulted in Namco terminating their licensing agreement with Midway.  As such, Namco won't be releasing these on XBLA.

Namco did have a mini-game called Pac-Jr, it was a minigame in the Sega Master/Genesis game called Pac Man 2:  The New Adventures.  I doubt Namco will bother with selling it separately, though, given it's just a graphical mod to Ms. Pac-Man.
