Game ME3 preorders being cancelled.

My mate just logged onto Game to check his orders after hearing on bioware's forums that several people who ordered from Game have had their preorders cancelled, sure enough his was showing as cancelled. I checked mine on and mine still says unshipped but above it it says an unknown item status cancelled. I clicked on my Me3 preorder to review an all seems ok.

There does seem to be some behind the scenes issue with Game and the Collectors edition of ME3, its been pulled from the website so you cant preorder it now, and some are reporting the same thing if you go in store as well....something isnt right thats for sure, hoping Game will clear it up so people know where they stand

If I don't get my N7 edition I will be 'murder rage' angry!!

I'll be SO gutted if it gets cancelled....

Mine still says "unshipped" and thats it.

Its been on and off there website a few times now, each time they say theres no more then they magically get some more,be very interesting to see what happens instore on release

Just tried the demo. Dont think to much of it to be honest

If they have the on shelf stock. They didnt for FF13-2 and THE KOA special editions

Out of interest those who are getting there orders cancelled - when did you pre-order?

Ordered my N7 edition on 10/11/2011 and mine has not been cancelled.....yet.

Ordered mine 22nd/11/2011 and mines been cancelled. However also have £5 pre order in store

@CockneyCharmer I'm out of the office until Monday so I can't get a official word on this yet but will investigate ASAP.

This is the tweet I just received when I asked if they can explain all the mysterious cancellations without warning for multiple people who pre-ordered the game online, will follow it up on Monday and see if they actually come back with an explanation...never know!

I also tweeted them yesterday morning but they didn't bother to reply.  Lots of people are buying the n7 edition from GameStop Ireland as they stock it and it's only £5 for delivery.

Ordered mine 15/06/2011 and it's still unshipped at the moment.

Does Gamestop Ireland charge instantly (like Gamestop.co.uk) or on dispatch?

Because the situation Game are in with money they dont want to bring stock thats not needed, so there looking at peoples account history and if you've cancelled a lot pre-orders in the past there going to cancel it now so you dont cancel it after they've already brought the stock.

At least my Witcher 2 Dark Edition is still OK, so far :O)

According to here www.mcvuk.com/.../091007  they managed to come to an agreement with its lenders for some stability.

The crazy thing is they're not just cancelling recent pre-orders, they've cancelled pre-orders that were originally placed as early as the middle of 2011!!

Also, if there are problems with payment cards or anything else then why not contact us? A running theme is that people's pre-orders have been cancelled yet they have received no notification/communication regarding this.

I have now placed an order at www.gamestop.ie as they still seem to be taking pre-orders for the N7 Collector's Edition. I am pretty much in their hands now. I just hope they come through for me!!

I shall wait to hear what the official word is tomorrow. However, I am not too hopeful because this has happened in the past (not to me personally) with Dragon Age II and I think Forza Motorsport 4 LCE too.

Poor show from Game and the lack of communication simply adds insult to injury. I suppose it's not the end of the world but when gaming is one's primary hobby/pass-time it is a little disappointing.

Thanks sparklefingers, it's painful as is the overall navigation. A traditional forum layout (vBulletin style) would be much better but I guess that's not what we're here to discuss ;-)

Looking at that Bioware link people have been having orders placed from way back in June cancelled, that's bang out of order. Hopefully I still get the one I preordered instore last year.

Inapplicable its incredibly wrong! they shouldn't just cancel without warning anyway but the fact that it seems random is terrible! if you can't stock all orders then okay but it should e first come first serve and there should of been an email go out to the customers they could no longer stock.

Yeah even without receipt your order will be held against reward card. Give the store a ring.

My N7 edition has been canceled, I'm not angry though I've just realized that the extra 30 quid is not worth it.

I only wanted the character and mission and you get that as DLC anyway. I can get Resident Evil Racoon City with that money xD

It's a real shame this is happening to people who want the collectors edition, especially when GAME have an exclusive on it in the UK. Though perhaps this will make EA think before granting them an exclusive again.

Have to admit I struggled over whether to order one in the first place but in the end paying 100% more than the cost of the standard edition was just too much for me. Especially when all I really wanted was the cool looking box, which no doubt I'll be able to find second-hand in a couple of months.

It's the game I want the most, you're right DC I bet there will be N7 edition stuff all over ebay there was with epic edition and legendary edition.

I'd like the art book but no doubt I can pick that up on ebay too.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the demo comes out to everyone tomorrow, and more people try to find the CE edition only to discover they cant get it as Game had the Exclusivity but clearly are having issues with a month still to go before release
