Anybody else with an XBox 360 who has the offer pop up on their dashboard, 3rd item along under Spotlight for 2 Months of XBox Live Gold for £2 having trouble with buying it?

I just keep getting error code 80190864 when trying to purchase it.

Thought it would be too good to be true unless somebody can confirm actually being able to pay for it.

Aparrently, this offer isn't made to all Live users as some have claimed they haven't seen it.

Also, my mate mentioned the offer that popped up for him the other day was 1 months Gold subscription for £1.

go to xboxlive.com/accounts and remove your old payment option

i just got my xbox 360 and i added my payment option and it wont let me

Thanks this worked for me. Just removed my expired payment method so I was left with 1 current option

i have the 2 months for £2! the only catch with it is that it automatic  renews at £5.99 after the 2 months has ended! i cant remove my payment option so that it wont charge me!!!!

Is this deal still going on?

I tried just now, it still comes up with error

this happened to me so I removed the card I was trying to use and used paypal instead it worked straight away

I took my payment method off and it allowed me to confirm purchase to put a new method in... But when I put the method in it brought the error back up and took me back to the dashboard... Any ideas?

ive been having smae problem for two days i rang microsoft and they told me they dont know and they would reply to me via email in the next five day, remove all payment option added new card that didnt work, added paypal that didnt work either, its probly just microsoft be dicks wanting u to sign up to a full year or just pay £5.00 a month, im *** off and fed up i just wanna play some BF3 Or Some GOW3!!!

To the people getting the error message, i was also getting the same message, checked my billing info and noticed i owed  MS £5.99 ...payed that off and the £2 offer worked straight away afterwards, so maybe check your account and make sure you have no outstanding balance

Yeah im getting the same problem, i dont understand and you cant buy it online :S

what you have to do guys is you have to go onto your account on xbox.com and go and delete your old paypal or credit card which could have expired or something like that. then you wait a day and it should be all fine.

NOTE: you must also change a legit credit card or paypal to your default payment choice.
