Account Management 

The simplest way to manage your account is through xbox.com. 

1. Go to http://www.xbox.com

2. Click Sign in and sign in with your LIVE email address and password.

3. Click "My Xbox" in the top Navigation bar.

4. Click "Go to Account."

 

 

Update your region:

1. In Account, click "Manage Account Region" under Membership Options.

2. Note: there are restrictions for this feature. If you have any questions, please contact customer support for assistance.

 

 

Change Payment options:

1. In Account, click "Manage Payment Options" under Membership Options.

2. You can edit, remove, or add a new for of payment here.

 

 

Change your address or phone number for your Billing information:

1. In Account, click "Billing Account Information" under Account Information.

2. Update your billing name, phone number, and address here.

 

 

How do I change my password?

The quickest way to change your password is here:

1.  Go to https://account.live.com 

2.  By your Password in Account Information, click "Change."

 

 

How do I update my email address?

The email address option in Billing Account Information is for billing notifications only. To update your sign in email address, follow these steps.

 

Please note: that you cannot change a @live.com, @msn.com or @hotmail.com email address to a new address or update your old email address to one of these addresses. If you need assistance changing your email address from or to one of a live.com, @msn.com, or @hotmail.com email addresses, you will need to contact customer support for assistance.

 

1.  Go to https://account.live.com and sign in with your old email address.

2.  By your email address in Account Information, click "Change."

Which items and games did I buy with my Microsoft Points?

1. In Account, click "View Billing History" under Membership Options.

2. You will be redirected to the Microsoft billing site.

3. Under Points and credits, click "Microsoft Points" to see the details on how you spent your points.

4. You can view your transaction history by month.

 

Which items and games did I buy with my credit card?

1. In Account, click "View Billing History" under Membership Options.

2. You will be redirected to the Microsoft billing site.

3. Under Payment type, click "Xbox Live (credit card listed here)" to see the details for the purchases you made with your credit card.

4. You can view your transaction history by month.

 

 

Which items and games did I unlock with a code?

1. In Account, click "View Billing History" under Membership Options.

2. You will be redirected to the Microsoft billing site.

3. Under Payment type, click "Prepaid Codes Payment Method" to see the details of which items you used a code to unlock.

4. You can view your transaction history by month.
