*Resolved* - Cannot connect to Games for Windows LIVE in game

I am now able to log in live, using Steam by the way.

I suggest that MS make any problems MUCH more visible to members before they go deleting accounts, formatting etc.

We shouldn't have to work so hard to find that there is indeed a problem with MS, not own our own end.

I can connect pretty easy from work (Windows XP) but can't connect from home "Win7". Could that be a problem?

SO GUYS IT WORKED!! I said earlier that I deleted my profile ingame and was having the same error when downloading it back... well, after 5 tries its finally working fine..

Dark souls was working pretty much okay for me this morning, though I wasn't able to invade as much. Then I got a message saying I was disconnected, and I cannot log back in. I'm pissed, to say the least.

Still not working for me. I won't delete my profile on the folder, since i might lose some savegames and i dont want that. Maybe someone at MS will make a fix this week. But seeing how they love GFWL, and the service is pretty much dead already, we can only hope. I'm gonna play Borderlands 2 and forget AoE in the meantime.

That's strange cause i see many people playing Street Fighter/AoE etc. online but i cant connect to Live from many games, It all started at Saturday afternoon.

This is a disgrace, MS fix this please, I almost lost the ability to play offline and I can't play any GFWL Steam game.

I can't even play GTA IV because it needs to download my profile..

Just patch the games and remove GFWL. We all know you've given up on the service and that it is just an annoyance.

Well, I have to say. 4 days and no response. I managed to log on with some trouble, last night. However my GF can't. Today, on the other hand, has been nothing but connection errors. We can;t play Dawn of War II together in Co-op and she's having problems getting things done in Fallout 3.

I'm glad that PC gaming is dropping GFWL, it always reminds me of the two and a half hour annoyance I had trying to run Lost Planet 2 for the first time. The constant updates and having to sign in every re-start.

Personally, I'd like some word or the problem fixed. After 4 days, on the other-hand, I can't see much being done to get this repaired quickly.

I have been having the same problems as everyone else here. Can't login to GFWL or register my key for Street Fighter v Tekken! Grr.....fix this please!

This is driving me insane! I've not been able to play Age Of Empires Online since 2 days now! :). Just says the's I've a issues with my home network (Tested with it all, it works just fine) or firewall( I've even tried to turn off the firewall, still don't works. And that LIVE service is not availible at this time. Serious MS, fix this please!

Woke up this morning thinking "it's monday, it's probably fixed". Guess I was too hopeful in thinking MICROSOFT of all companies could actually fix something.

at 01:00pm i call the xbox support, one guy say they know we have a issue and wait for news soonly, i call again at 5pm at the same number : "we dont support game for windows live please call microsoft" ... i call MS : "we dont support game for windows live" WTF !

Still cant play since Friday !
