Re: Final Boss: Aggravating Beyond Belief

Hi dude, I've just completed the Final Boss on Normal without dying. (3 Acheivements!) I WAS LUCKY! If you didn't already know when you get to low health and kill an enemy there's a small chance it will drop a "Health Orb" just like the "Rage Orbs" the "Orbs" recover quite alot of health and doing this you should ...

Are you guy's freaking serious??? This battle was so easy it was ridiculous... I did it my first time on hard and didn't go below half life once throughout the whole ordeal...  I did twice outside the gate's trying to get the shaman's and that was it.Here's what I did:I  LB+XXX on the crystal to destroy it in one shotIf I was near a ...

Re: why did sega ruin such a great game with such a crappy boss battle?

This has kinda stopped me in my tracks too... the problem is, its not particularly clever... or part of a battle... its just a stupidly frustrating experience. The finale battle should cap a game off not end it on a low. I am using a shield blocking technique which is helping me get to the final firestick... then i get slaughtered by the heavies, ...

Re: Final Boss: Aggravating Beyond Belief

the stairs wasn't too bad but it was definitely way too long. i started to get so bored after a while but as for the room with the 4 things u have to destroy the best strategy is defensive position and push them into the fire. and for berserker the counter kill move where u dodge and come back with blow to the hip, on a berserker its a 1 hit kill ...

Here's how I was able to beat the last section of Viking: Before you begin the siege on Hel's tower, BUY EVERYTHING.  This includes axes(10), flame-pots(3), health potions(3), the meal, and any moves from the arena.   Now start the siege, be careful to not use ANYTHING(accept  for  rage  and  ...

Re: why did sega ruin such a great game with such a crappy boss battle?

I found it frustrating as well at first.  You need to push the enemies with the shields into the fire walls by holding block and pressing "A". That will do the most devastating damage to them.  Other than that you simply have to fight and use the skills earned that incorporate the left button to use unblockables. Also, always ...

Re: Final Boss: Aggravating Beyond Belief

I'm surprised people have had so much trouble with the main boss. I died three times on the ramps on the way up to her, but killed her on the first go. Guess I just got lucky? My strategy was basically just shield bash the enemies into the fire, and then try to take them on one at a time. The hardest part was not accidentally going into ...

I honestly have no idea what some people are on about. I have finished the final mission in one go. Now, I don't mean to brag about it, but it wasn't the hardest of missions either. I died once and that was during the battle, I was trying to find the portal until eventually I died. Once inside the tower, I stopped on the stairs to regenerate my ...

Re: why did sega ruin such a great game with such a crappy boss battle?

It took me at least 20 tries to get through it.  What worked for me was to use the block/push attack to knock enemies into the fire near Hel when possible.  Not only was it easier to keep track of where they were most of the time, but they seemed to just stand around in the fire there for a lot longer.  Use the ...

Re: Final Boss: Aggravating Beyond Belief

Overall a great game, but the final boss fight was just awful.  Not sure why the devs decided to use that character model, but Hel looked horrible. After trying to rush through and figuring that didn't work, I just took my time on the stairs and made it to the fire room, then getting a rythm for the attacks, pushing the enemies into the fire ...

Re: Final Boss: Aggravating Beyond Belief

The last boss / tower was easy as *** IMO.... Here's what I did   Basically LT+Y (Evade when enemy attacks) then hit X for the attack (it's been a while i'm pretty sure that's the counter move though... this pretty much does a fatality on most of the enemies, and if it doesn't they're practically dead.  While going up the tower just take it ...

Re: Final Boss: Aggravating Beyond Belief

turtle it up like a fighting game. basically have your back to the wall that is not fire, and push anyone that comes near you. if the # of enemies is light, you can continue to push them into the fire and hurry back to the wall to set up your defense again. in the off-chance that you get surrounded so that you're actually taking damage because one ...
