Hulu Plus is now available on Xbox LIVE in the US. If you haven't tried Hulu Plus yet, it's an awesome way to watch TV and movies on your own schedule, and to catch up on series you've missed. It offers unlimited instant streaming access to current episodes of many popular TV shows from ABC, Comedy Central, Fox, MTV, NBC, and more. You can catch the latest episodes of hits like Modern Family, Family Guy, Glee, The Daily Show, and even Jersey Shore, as well as dozens of other popular TV shows. You can also stream some of cinema's most acclaimed films from the Criterion Collection. In addition to catching up on 30 Rock episodes that I missed, I've been using Hulu Plus to watch the classic Kurosawa films that I hadn't seen so far. (If you haven't seen them yet, Kurosawa's excellent films were a major inspiration for George Lucas when he created the original Star Wars.)

You'll need a standard Hulu Plus membership to use the service, which costs $7.99/month and includes limited advertising. The Hulu Plus membership also lets you watch watch shows any supported Internet-connected device, so you can start watching a show on your Xbox 360 and wrap it up later on your laptop or mobile phone.

  • I'm so happy to hear that this is finally happening but I'm quite shocked that you can't get all the shows that are available through the website.  I can't even see shows like Chuck or some other scify shows also.

  • All you folks outside the US are LUCKY you can't get HULU on the xbox because you don't have to end up bitterly DISAPPOINTED. I ordered it, love the service but it doesn't work on the 360 just like netflix didn't.

I spent all day trying to convince my wife how great this would be and finally got her to sit down to watch a show with me. The problem wasn't the mildly annoying ads but the constant buffering and then the "test connection" screen. Just trying to check out "Bones". She just got up, flipped hair, rolled eyes and walked away with a head shake. I can't blame her after 5 buffering episodes before the 2nd minute of the show had started.

By the way, I set the quality to 480p in my profile just to avoid dropouts. It still wants to showoff HD. Looks great for 10 secs after 30 seconds of buffering.

I like the format on the 360 just like I did for netflix but i only will watch it on my bluray disc player or on the computer I hooked up to my other TV. Nice try 360 but not ready.

FIX IT AND I WILL BUY IT!!!!!

  • After trying the free trial I must say I don't find it worth the money if I have to sit through the annoying commercials and why did they raise the price of XBL Gold?

  • Why is it just in the U.S?

  • Is there any chance this might be released in Ireland?  Please Microsoft.....this would be awesome!

  • Hulu !!! Hawaiin Punch

  • I was excited about hulu plus until i found out that you had to have a credit card for the free trials. I am getting disappointed in Microsoft about the fact that they are charging people to use premium services. I think paying the gold memberships should give you access to these premium services.

  • je m'appelle badr

  • In the USA is everything much earlier there than in europe or Australia e. g. but 2 month later ( or earlier), We get it to I hope ^^.

  • hulu is garbage.... i signed up for the trial and did not get my full week trial
