Want to see some of the very best Call of Duty players in action, and ask them just how they manage to rack up so much virtual death and destruction?
The GUNNAR Call of Duty LAN will be hosted by professional gaming teams Team EnVyUs and OpTic Gaming. Gunnar says it’s is a community event designed to foster the discussion of development and competition for the Call of Duty franchise, as well as to showcase the talent, tips and tricks of various professional players and content creators within the community.
Gunnar will be livestreaming the event on Twitch.tv, and you can watch for status updates on Twitter by searching for the hashtag #GUNNARCODLAN.
Here’s the schedule of events:
Friday, February 10
6-9 PM ET: Player Showcase Q&A: Stream viewers will get the opportunity to ask questions and discuss topics with professional players and YouTube personalities via the Twitch.tv feed.
11 PM ET: Late Night Madness: Join an Xbox LIVE open lobby and compete against pro teams, Machinima directors, and GUNNAR Optics staff members.
Saturday, February 11
2 PM-2AM ET: Skills Competition: Professional players will enter into 20 full public matches in Modern Warfare 3 game lobbies, showing off their skills while officials track stats and scoring. Awards will include a Viewer’s Choice Award for “Most Style,” voted on by live stream viewers.
Sunday, February 12
3 PM-5 PM ET: OpTic Gaming vs EnVyUs MW3 Showdown: Top COD teams compete in a head-to-head exhibition match.
5PM-7:30 PM ET: Liberation & Piazza Showdown: Watch a live stream as teams compete on the new maps that are available to current Call of Duty Elite Premium subscribers.
