Resident Evil 6 Coming 10/2/2012: See the New Trailer!

Originally slated for late November, Capcom announced today that Resident Evil 6 will be released globally on October 2, 2012.

Along with the ship date announcement, Capcom released a new action-packed trailer that does a great job setting up the story for the latest installment in the series.

You can view the trailer on the Xbox YouTube channel, or queue it up to download and watch on your Xbox 360.

And if October 2 seems like a very long way awy, don’t forget that you can preorder Dragon’s Dogma now, which will include early access to the Resident Evil 6 demo! For the full scoop, see our earlier blog entry.

    I have given up on resident evil, It is nothing like it used to be.It seems like the only people that really like re5 are the new *** who never even played the first ones

    Not true HighTommy5tone, I've played every resident evil that was released except the one for Wii and DS but I do like re5. Granted that I LOVE the orginals(re1,2,3) but every game changes with the times. and it seems like action games are where its at right now. So far it hasn't been a bad change with RE  until ORC in my opinion.
