Here we are with the next edition of the XCS People Profile, and this time we have Jesse (^JG) in the hot seat. If you missed our last one on Phil (^PS) you can check that out here.

If you have any ideas for future blog topics, or there are specific questions you’d like us to explore in future team member profiles, please post in the comments below. We’d love to hear your thoughts!

Q: Where are you from?

A: I’ll avoid the obvious Fresh Prince joke here (though you’ll never know how hard that is for me to do!) I was born and raised in Seattle. Though I did spend 3 years when I was pretty young living in England when my dad got a job there for a while.

Q: Aside from playing video games, what are some other hobbies that you’re into?

A: I love to play tennis, though I don’t get out nearly as much as I’d like. I also love to cook. I spend a lot of time coming up with new things to try. I've been working on my pulled pork recipe for a while, and think I'm getting close to perfect.

Q: Where’s the most interesting place you’ve traveled to?

A: I did a study abroad trip to France in college, and one of the places we stayed was this tiny little town called Uzes. Incredible weather, tons of amazing places to visit, great food, and a bull run through the streets! It was an awesome experience.

Q: What’s your favorite sport? Favorite pro team from that sport?

A: Why you gotta make me choose? If I MUST pick, I’d go with soccer—football to my non-American friends. And my favorite team, of course, Seattle Sounders FC.

Q: What’s your favorite addition/change to the new Xbox 360 dashboard?

A: It would have to be Bing search. I love that I don’t need to hunt down all the content for a game, or I can search for my favorite TV show and get all of that content shown in one place. It saves time, and helps me discover new stuff I didn’t know was there.

Q: If you had to pick one, which would you say is most likely real? The Loch Ness Monster, space aliens, or Bigfoot?

A: Aliens. “Space is big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is.” (Thanks Douglas Adams) I guess it’s just hard to completely rule out the possibility knowing how MASSIVE space is!

Q: Are you smarter than a 4th grader?

A: I want to say yes – and if they challenged me to a “How do I open my NAT” test, I’d probably win. But they’re really good at state capitols and stuff…so….toss up?

Q: Favorite use for the Xbox 360 console?

A: Xbox LIVE Arcade. I love being able to grab a new game whenever I feel like it, and having such a HUGE variety to choose from is great. :)

Q: Do you have a preferred game genre?

A: Man, another tough one. I’m fairly eclectic in my tastes, but I guess my two favorites would be RPG and puzzle (like Portal). And if you can combine the two of those in some way I’m COMPLETELY sold.

Q: What do you love most about being part of the Xbox Community Support team?

A: My favorite part would have to be the people I work with. It’s such a diverse and quirky group that they make every day hilarious and awesome in a new way. Couldn’t ask for a better team!

Thanks for reading. Catch us next time.
