The Xbox Community Ambassadors program is full of passionate Xbox gamers who know their stuff. Every two months, we are going to profile one of our Ambassadors so you can all get the chance to know more about them.
This is our second month, and we are featuring Ambassador all-star Onyx62is.

With that, on with the interview!
Q: What do you love most about being an Xbox Community Ambassador?
A: I like being able to help out others that ask for it. Being able to use the knowledge that I’ve gained from being a part of the Xbox community over the years has really come in handy since I became an Ambassador.
Q: What’s the story behind your Gamertag?
A: Onyx is a nickname I have in certain groups. My Gamertag was simply Onyx for the original console but unfortunately I wasn’t able to migrate it over to the Xbox 360 when it came out so I had to use the next number in the series. That happened to be 62.
Q: Do you have a funny story to share regarding a user on chat, the forums, or in-game play?
A: Not really a LIVE or chat-related story but still funny nonetheless. I live in a complex of town-houses and am friends with quite a few of the neighbours. They all know that I own an Xbox and a lot of related gear and that I am part of the Ambassador program.
Well, over this past summer I seem to have been responsible for about 90% of my friends buying Xbox/Kinect bundles for themselves. You see, I tell them how much fun the Kinect is and have had them over to try it. They were obviously sold on it and bought systems themselves.
Do you think I could get a commission for the sales? ;)
Q: What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?
I don’t consider myself to be the greatest player out there. I just play for fun when I’m able to get online. So I think one of my greatest moments on live was when I managed to get a Killamanjaro kill streak in Halo.
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
That would have to be Adamantium Claws and a healing factor. What could be cooler than that? Being invulnerable or able to fly would be cool but being able to heal any wound almost instantaneously or never get sick would really save on hospital bills. ;)
Q: Which Xbox LIVE game are you most looking forward to this year?
I’m currently looking forward to returning to Pandora in Borderlands 2.
Q: Where is the most awesome place you have ever visited?
So far I would have to say Stonehenge. But that’s only because I haven’t had the opportunity to visit China yet.
Q: Who is better: Leno, Letterman, or Team Coco?
Grew up with Letterman so I’m going to have to go with him. Oh wait, did I just date myself?
Q: If you could make one change to the Ambassadors program, what would it be?
I mean no offense to the creators of this great program when I suggest this but I think a stricter policy for Ambassadors may be helpful. Perhaps a 30 day trial period to see how they post on the forums before they are allowed full access to the program.
Q: What one piece of advice do you have for other Ambassadors who are on chat and the forums?
I think the biggest piece of advice I can give other Ambassadors is to read the question and research the answer. There’s nothing a person likes better than a well thought out answer that points them in the right direction. If you don’t have a quick reply that will answer their question, don’t hesitate to ask a question back to get more info.
