Finished The Darkness II.Quite a short game really.It's good but i prefered the 1st one.

Finished Dead Island for the 2nd time. Promised a friend I would help him do it co-op. Picked up some achievements here and there. Time to return it to Gamefly and sit tight with a slot open until Mass Effect 3 comes out. Now I just need to hammer away at Batman: Arkham City Game + mode and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Picked up Alan Wake a few days ago on Steam. Hoping to finish that up (again) before American Nightmare this Wednesday on the 360. Completely forgot about it. Somewhat disappointed that it's only going to be 200 GS though.

Got about 160 today playing Rage and Halo Reach. I really dislike Halo

It is.  I thought I would roll it out with the new game coming.

Nice! I loved that game. I knew almost instantly and then I realized the new game coming so I thought it was cool you did that.

Hah, I hit the trifecta ( named 3 times) a few months back. maybe we should name it after an achievement? Godlike? Seriously 4.0? Mile High Leaderboard Club?

I thought I would get in the mood for Syndicate and it's cyberpunk world by playing Deus Ex. Almost finished my second play through as I missed a few  story related achievements and a few Ebooks, as well as I set off one alarm I know of and missed foxiest. I'm working on Foxiest now and only need two ebooks. I am so paranoid that I have set off an alarm at this point via a camera or a turret. I think if Foxiest of the hounds does pop I will collapse from relief.

I still have to finish Deus EX. Not setting off any alarms is difficult. I set one off as well.

So i punched a horse in the face for 100gs and then got hung up playing Gotham City impostors

Aren't the games in New Zealand distributed through Australia?  I only ask because Syndicate was refused classification (read: banned) in here Australia.   So will it even be available in NZ?

It  does bother me too much, as I'll be getting my copy from Ozgameshop instead.

Banning in OZ has never affected games being sold in NZ, but games being edited to pass classification in OZ does affect which copy we get here. A lot of Aussies were trying to import MK from NZ when it was banned in Oz.

Well I guess that is the final sign of the Apocalypse then.

I'm starting to get angry with some of these Syndicate achievements. I defeated the one boss without accessing these UAV bots to refill my ammo. You have to target the thing and then hold down LB, so it was pretty easy to simply not do that. No achievement.

Then I completed the one level without killing any civilians. While in your special vision mode the surroundings are gray, enemies are orange and civilians are blue. So once again it was pretty easy to make sure there was nothing blue anywhere on my screen before I started shooting. No achievement.

And for the record, I'm playing on normal. One of the achievements needs to be on normal or higher, the other doesn't specify a difficulty level.

^^ Did you only use the mini-gun on that level where you aren't supposed to kill civilians?

You get the mini-gun at a certain point after you take it off a certain enemies dead body. And once you pick it up, you can't drop it even if you wanted to. (I tried. Can't kill civilians with a gun I'm not using was my logic)

Ah, sounds glitchy then.

@ Sword Style. I don't know if this will help you, but here is a video I found on that achievement.

Yup, that's the spot. As you can see, enemies glow orange and civilians glow blue. And it's not like they are running about throughout the entire sequence. At certain points, a group of civilians will run out in the open. It's not hard to hang back for a few seconds and wait for them to leave the area entirely before you start shooting. Still, no achievement.

Bought American Nightmare. Good so far but I haven't tried the arcade mode yet. Already picked up two achievements. Game looks great and no framerate issues yet either. They give you the choice between a 30 fps cap and uncapped (default) as well.

Just finished Rage up. Great game but the ending totally sucked. Now its back to Skyrim

Just finished my second play through of Deus EX. Mopped up the missable achievements from the story and the Doctorate achievement, but I must have set off a Camera or Turret or something as Foxiest of Hounds did not unlock for me.

I'll take a guess at the header and say Command and Conquer?

^^ I have been getting lucky lately.

Watching the end credits roll on Syndicate right now. Good game, but it's not what I was expecting. Since the premise is so similar to Deus Ex, and considering Star Breeze's work on Escape from Butcher Bay. I somehow got it in my head that it would have a hub of sorts. Where you could walk around and talk to people, go shopping, get side missions. Yeah, there's none of that. It's your standard linear FPS where as long as you keep moving forward, you'll make it to the end. But as far as linear FPS goes, it's up there with the best of them in my opinion.

Unfortunately not. I wasn't able to finish Dead Island with my friend in time to send it back. 

Just got done replaying Metal Gear Solid on the GCN. Since I picked up the MGS HD Collection for the 360, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to play Metal Gear with achievements. aAd so I'm replaying the entire series. I've never played Peace Walker though. That was originally on the PSP? How is it compared to others in the series?
