First off let me apologize if there is already a thread on this game, I missed it if their is.
 

Isn't this game suppose to be like an open world game like DayZ? If so then i might consider buying this even though i don't usually buy arcade games. ( I think this is an arcade game) and yes i agree the zombie game genre is very stale right now. They need to bring us something new... like Aliens, super humans or shall i dare say ninjas?

yes it's an arcade game. it looks like its going to be good, but unfortunately it will not have any co-op which really makes me sad.

I'll get it, but hope someone else makes a game similar with co-op.

It clearly isn't an open world multiplayer survival game like DayZ but it has potential.

At least the graphics look a bit better.

But it doesn't matter how good it looks, it's all about the game play experience.

Give it some time & multiplayer style games of this genre will be on XBL.

zombie genre isn't stale the problem is almost all zombie games are the same ... this looks good from what they say it will be like fallout.

The game looks excellent. I'm a little disappointed that there won't be any co-op, but according to the FAQ on the Undead Labs website it could be added at some point after the game launches.

Good to hear! I thought that this game was supposed to have multiplayer from the get go though.

Me too thats why i was excited. I thought it was going to be a DayZ type of game. I still might consider buying it. I might not though.

The decision to scrap co-op (for the time being, at least) in favor of working on other aspects is disappointing but does not warrant me shrugging the game off at all.

nope, it will be single player.
they claim an MMO version will come out after, but at best that is 2 years away. 

They did say that co-op may still be introduced at a later time.

Game definately looks interesting. I like that you can drive vehicles. I could really care less for co-op as I tend to play most games by myself, but an mmo version could be cool.

This is from the same company that is developing the Zombie MMO game, but it is not the same game. Here is what is said about both games (taken from the FAQ from the Undead Labs website.)

Q: What is Class3, and what is Class4?

A: Class3 was the code name for the single player XBLA/PC game we're building, where you must attempt to survive the zombie apocalypse. There's a storyline, but the main part of the game is a sandbox. It is now known as State of Decay. Class4 is way, way bigger - a massively multiplayer sandbox world. We will be using your feedback on State of Decay's mechanics and systems to make Class4.

I don't know if they've said anything about a potential release date for Class4, but I'm guessing it won't come out until the next generation of consoles are out.

there is no real info on the mmo. and I am still calling it won't come to 360.

sure they might add co-op later but we are talking months down the line after release, and we all know there will be more serious bugs to wok on first.
