  • Looks super fun!  Wish the game looked like that though.  Wonder what the Drop ship thing is all about?

  • i wonder how it's going to work... i mean the flag gets moved but the the flag carrier is moving it is stopped does the flag stay at that spot or is it moved back? but i do know like in all capture the flags for the score you need your teams flag in base when the enemy's flag is brought in.

Black Ops II & Halo 4 everyone & their dog plays that game. It's slightly adjusted from the year before only with a new title

  • Yeah umm I might just take advantage of the early realise for the PRIVILEGE few, I didnt on the last one, I have such bad luck on Aftermath, this game has to have the MOST maps in a single game by now??

And sometimes I wonder why they even bother. Server searches for games 15+ players almost always exclusively return Kharg, Caspian, Firestorm, Metro. I try to get  a server rocking with a variety of map combos - empty. Put in Kharg, Caspian and Firestorm - I have to queue to get on my own server. I like the AK maps and most times I have to search worldwide for a game, not just local.

We whinge about map variety and then only play 3-4 maps by choice!

I reckon next time they just release 3 vanilla maps and 1 per DLC. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure we'll all whinge loud and long about the lack of maps... and then only play 1-2 anyway!

  • ^ They make bad maps, people pick the best of those. They even manage to make awesome maps unplayable, look at Wake Island, a fantastic map on previous titles, come BF3, they make it extremely blue, remove a carrier and the entire map because a POS.

You give the collective "people" far too much credit.

  • CTF? Interesting! I like CTF. I actually played some BF3 this weekend for the first time in about 3 months. Had a decent time.

  • So far the "aftermath" is the most successful of the all DLC or EP's realised, when ever I rent a server that is the fastest game or map that fills up, that or Operation Firestorm..

  • hmmm......maybe I'll have to try that, "BRAIN DONORS" is up and running again.....and empty as usual

I'd dispute that. I've been running Aftermath CQ on one of my servers for almost a week now, and apart from a couple hours last night - tumbleweeds. On the other I've been running Armored Kill and it's full every night - about 12 hrs straight out of every 24 odd (AU afternoon/nights), it's full to the brim ALL MAPS.

I think when you say Aftermath is the most successful, you really mean Epicenter. From my experience once that one's dusted, everyone leaves.

  • Level: 5
  • BTG I've jumped on to your server a time or two to practice flying since no one seems to be on it.  I was thinkgin I might catch you, but I was thinking you were in the UK for whatever reason. Wrong time zone.

  • Level: 3
  • BTGp2 picks up about 3pmish AU time (about 90 mins from NOW) and stays pretty full till past midnight most days - Armored Kill's pretty popular, certainly the most popular map pack I've run.

I just switched BTGp1 to Battlefield 3 because Aftermath just collects dust - which disapoints the hell out of me because I like it myself.

Of course i could just run Kharg, Caspian and Firestorm or nothing but Metro 24/7 and have them full 24/7 but EVERYONE's running them so I'm sticking to rotating FULL map packs though AK will probably stay at least until we get a look at Endgame.

Feel free to fly around shooting trees whenever the servers empty and join in when they're full.

  • AU time? We're AEDT in NSW, AEST in QLD (AEST NSW, VIC, TAS and ACT when daylight savings aren't on), ACST in SA and NT, and AWST in WA.

    -

That also converts to GMT +10 or UTC + 10, (GMT/UTC + 11 when AEDT).

I would say it has the most maps with this amount of detail(LIMITED destruction, vehicles, building to go into, etc.) on each map.  But for pure number of maps(base disc plus DLC), I think GRAW2 takes the prize with 51 total maps. But 8 of those maps had the option to play at night on each map.  Also, at the time Ubi made you only pay for 2 of the 4 DLC map packs.  I think it was like 1600 MSP at release. The other two DLC packs were free.  But the same thing happened on that game, people only wanted to play a few of those maps.  Even though some of the maps were great.

  • "Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P. "

Opposing team chasing the jeep was pathetic.  If I was on a bike i'd have c4 all over that jeep in no time at all.  Also funny the chopper didn't do any damage to the jeep either.  R2D2 is a master mechanic I guess.

BF3 lacks replay value.  Disc of 9 maps got lame fast.

  • The video felt like the movie "Road Warrior" some what though.  Guess all we need is a 18 wheeler tanker truck and some *** chaps and mohawks.

Well, that would explain why they don't hire you to direct their teaser releases.
