Everymatch now i join there is only like 4 people on each team and i keep getting put in the same match. Guess mw3 and bf3 are the reason why

I jsut got the Ultimate Edition yesteray for my 360 had it on my PS3, thought it was time to swap over, I played both MW3 and BF 3 and tbh I prefer BFBC 2, so if you want to add me for a few games GT = kexlar

Are the DLC packs for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 worth the price? How active is the online for the DLC modes?

Yea, it's hard to find more then a few players in any mode now. Read they are have problems ever since bf3 came out.

Well, it's all on sale now for one. And after bf3 dies down people will play what they like the most. Smaller communities are better anyway.

Yesterday was hard getting info games with more then 5 people, but today, getting into almost full games for the pass 4 hrs. Kindof nice lol

I think people are spending their gift cards and the community has beefed up a bit.  Vietnam was awesome DLC.  Shame this has slowed down so much.  It was so popular I thought for sure it would always be populated.

I like the Vietnam DLC i find it better than 1943 but it's too bad that the some of the BC2 players never got in to it as much, maybe they don't like Iron Sights.

I want to play BC 2 again but every time I try to connect I get a failure message. I contacted EA and chewed them out because of shoddy support for a game that isn't even two years old yet. I like BF 3 but the simplicity of BC 2 and superior maps make it a better game to me.

I still have the game, i might go back on it more now that i have BF3 and don't really like it as much as Bad Company 2 ya'll can add me if ya want to.

Yeah nearly the same thing happens to me. And it was sad since I just got this game a frew months ago. When ever I do get a good game, I can never comunicate with anyone since no one ever uses thier mic's anymore.

I had a couple of good games on OP Hastings the other night, but once the map changed to 137 everyone bar me and 1 guy in the other team left.

Seems like only the popular maps will have players in it.

I still play here and there. Yeah, I think MW3 and BF3 killed it. However, you'll still see people playing...maybe not as much as before.

i can't choose which game to buy black ops or battlefield bad company 2 it depends on how many people are still playing on the multiplayer so which u recommend me to get

Black ops for sure has more community.   I play around 9-11 eastern time and scarce community on BFBC2.  once in a while 6 on 6 but usually unbalanced 3 on 4 games,  such a heartbreaker.

i just got the game yesterday and i only played the campaign so idk what the muti is like . But if its anything like the solo its going be great lol i had mw2 but i taded it in since i found my new fav shooter

This is common.  I have to try and log in 4-7 times or more sometimes.  Just keep trying, it will work eventually.

At peak times there are roughly 3000 - 4000 people. You can find out how many people are online by going to http://bfbcs.com/

It's posted on the left hand side of the page. For the past 2 weeks or so it hasn't been showing the XBOX population, but believe me I've checked it enough to know how many people play daily.

^The problem is that there's no proper matchmaking. Even if there's still a reasonable amount of players around, they're all on different servers... It's a shame, really. They should take away some of the old servers, and that way two servers of 6 vs. 6 could become one 12 vs. 12.

On vietnam there is usually full servers on the vehicle maps . I was on it yesterday and had quite a few full games.

they thin out though when you play on the Infantry only maps. That was Conquest. Rush was deserted.
