Halo 4 Unlocking Six Specialization HELP!?!?!?

Ok my Rank is SR70 and I can't pick anymore specialization right? I just wondering that I'm a "Silver Member" and I play halo 4 before Nov. 20 with a XBL 14 gold trail can I still get the specialization code on my email account or Xbox Live account gamertag if I'm a Silver Member? Note: I use two Xbox Live 14 gold trails during halo 4 launch day on Nov. 6

anyone who played the online from launch till the end of the 20th is entitled to that code, if you were not an LE owner.

You will be emailed the code when they start issuing them...being silver should not stop that but being silver will stop you playing online unless you use more trial codes or upgrade to Gold

Hiya. It's the 21st, and it was my general assumption that the codes would start being handed out on the 20th. Are they being handed out and they just haven't gotten to me, or will they just instantly give it to everyone when they're ready? Was the 20th just like.. play before then and you're eligible, or was it actually the date they'll give you the stuff too?

No problem its a simple mistake and its obvious not many people actually looked at the fine print, LOL then again its like reading a game or electronics manual, who does right? lol, well I always do so....Please allow me to explain this matter further to you so that it may hopefully clarify this issue.

Now we all know limited edition buyers like myself got a DLC exclusive code to see 6 extra specializations on-top of the original 2 standard users are only able to see for the time being. But us Limited Edition buyers still had to rank up to be allowed to choose 1 out of the 8 instead. As where Standard Editions only got to choose between 2 at the time.

Now, Shortly before the Launch of HALO 4 Microsoft and 343i released a news update on the Xbox dashboard. The one you are in question about. The tab you are talking about said if  you play Halo 4 WAR GAMES matchmaking online anytime between the November 6th and the 20th of November you will unlock the other additional 6 Specializations for Halo 4 bringing the total to 8 choices rather than 2.

HOWEVER, what most people like yourself missed was the small print beneath the message on the tab. If you would have read this you would understand why you have yet to receive the content code for the specializations.

THE CODES WERE NOT GOING TO BE RELEASED ON THE 20th OF NOVEMBER,

The codes are to be released on November 30th by email containing a code for the 6 Specializations.This delay rather than being instant is to allow 343i and Xbox to gather the amount of Standard edition users emails and gamer-tags who participated in this promotion. After that they will then send the codes VIA email for you.

Below I have copied and pasted the exact words from the Tab about receiving the code and this promotion:

You must play Halo 4 SE by 11:59 p.m. EST on November 20. After that, "A download code will be sent to the email address associated with your Xbox LIVE account by November 30, 2012."

Hopefully this clears things up and will get rid of any confusion, Any questions you can message me on XBL, my GT is VAUZIX. Hope I was able to clarify and help out.

my question is will our xp be reflected after the 6 come out. im a 68 and when i hit 70 will i stop acrewing xp or will it be added after i get the code?

Once you have the ability to pick another Specialisation you will start levelling up, but until you cant earn XP as you have maxed out

What they are doing is stupid. For anyone who is already 70 and doesn't have limited edition there is no point in playing until new specializations are out. It's really an unfair advantage they should all be available to everybody. Its like you paid $60 for a trial.

everyone failed to notice that the fine print also said you had to be 17 or older to participate in the promotion  lol pretty much anyone under wont recieve it unless they have a parent account linked .

so we are  just playing untill we reach the final rank? we no longer play for fun and to play with friends? gees what happened to the online competition on theese forums?

i personally dont care for rank but it would be nice to have  a system where you cant reach the max in the first week thats the only bad part about h4. you dont need to try to rank up ive had whole teams quit about before the match starts and i still get the same ammount of xp that i would get for trying my best. i miss halo 3s ranking

Halo 3s ranking sucked. Reaches xp progression was entirely too slow. Halo 4 is perfect.

Ok, so does anyone know what email they are sending the download code to exactly though? I have one email which I use to recover my gamertag, (my windows live id), and then when i go to contact information under the "my account" section of the xbox website, the email is different and its one I can no longer access. When I logged onto my xbox live account on my xbox though, the email is the one i use to recover the account on different xbox's. Can anyone please clarify for me? Id hate to miss out on the specializations for such a dumb mistake.

This is all so grand. So I buy a game and now I can't level up in that game because they haven't emailed me a code yet. This is bogus! Make a game give the limited editions a choice for all eight and when non limited edition players have completed there first two choices of specialization give them the rest. 343 get your stuff together. Come on you noobs.

I agree here I didn't purchase a trial. I have never had a multiplier game where I max out until I receive an email from a company. What's next? The fine print is going to charge everyone next Halo.

*** sucks that I'm stuck at rank 70 and now waiting on a damn email to get a code to unlock the other specializations. I got the game the day it came out and have been playing since and ever since the 20th I've been waiting on that email and all I have gotten is an email saying "keep advancing your spartan VI career" "your efforts have not gone in noticed". Well 343...I do feel like they have. The game is good and all but I feel I'm being bullshited.

Well hopefully we all get our email soon or I'm suing! lol Nah but I don't know if they've changed the whole emailing players or not. All I know is we are suppose to have the email by the 30th. So hopefully 343 keeps they're word and hooks us hard working players up like we deserve! ;)

343 should finish their games before they release them. they are always pulling this stupid bullcrap on people. we didnt buy the game to be jerked around. im a 70 and cant do anything. i dont even want to play because ill waste my commidation reward points. very dissapointed in this crap.

I'm pretty sure you'll get your codes it did'nt say exclusive to gold members, but it was exclusive to standard members who have the standard edition of halo.

Just make it so LE members can choose what one of the 8 they want to go after and if you're a SE owner they should just go down the list unlocking one only after the one before it is fully maxed out

I guess we all just have to wait four more days to see if 343 delivers and if they don't they have destroyed one of the most awesome franchises EVER... Why punish the people that cannot afford the LCE but get a standard copy only to be told your not our favorites because you didn't spend more money. That is ridiculous....

yea u max  out xp and at the end of game dont get any xp......ive been lvl 70 for over a week now trying not to lvl up any commendations......... them stoping the lvl up is the most stupid thing ive hurd of and makes the game lame!!!!!!1

well its the 30th of November and no sign of that e-mail. What a drag, 343, you really screwed things up.

Found out the codes will be sent by tomorrow, December 1st. Since the codes are being sent by the Xbox team and not 343i, I would suggest contacting @XboxSupport on Twitter about it if you still have not received a code by then. Until then, keep calm and try to be patient. :-)

Microsoft also announced today at 10am PST that the codes will be emailed tonight at 11:59pm PST, but may take a few hours to receive. Any issues please call microsoft if your code isnt received by the evening or message me on Xbox live and i can possibly help. I have an extra account that will be receiving an email so i can verify that they sent them.

ok so i redeemed the code and i still have only 2 specializations, something is wrong here. please help

Alright guys it is legit! Just got my email with the code. Redeemed it a now all 6 of the other specializations are unlocked and ready to go :) just letting you guys know its legit.

Im sorry i played since day one and i havent reseived any kind of code in my email and its dec 1 now so whats up here my friend that is a LE owner got a code in his email so what the hell is going on why in the world would they send a LE owner the code when i thought it was only for SE owners please explain  because if i dont get this so called code im never buying another halo game again this is complete BS
