Now, my copy was damaged by my idiot brother, so I'm thinking of getting this again... and as it has all the DLC bundled in it, the last four DLC I don't have will be included in the game as it should've been from day one. True this is probably just a marketing ploy to get more revenue... but I'm thinking positively here, that it's for the development of Saints Row IV and HOPING that it'll be a better game than SRTT was (not saying it's a bad game... just not as good as the previous one).

I like that companies do editions like this down the road. I just want to see a confirmed list of exactly what's in it.

I wont get it myself as I've already gotten all the DLC except the unlockable and invincible packs.

Looks to be all the DLC. If you never bought the mission packs this would be great. :)

That's what I'm wondering. The way it's worded in all the links I've read it's not clear if it's all the DLC or not.

Ah, this is what I've been waiting for. I'll definitely be getting this. I've learned to wait a year to buy any game because the good games usually do something like this. Hopefully it will go on sale on Black Friday and I can get it even cheaper.

Usually, patience is the key. However, if you are someone who doesn't want every DLC, this is not the best option (my opinion, BTW).

Why? It's priced really good, so it's not like it's a bad thing.

@James, all I did was state that not everyone likes DLC, and because of that would not find this "deal" worth it. I also stated and agreed with OP that patience does pay off.

Why would I not want to DL all the DLC or why would one not want to? Well, for me, I just don't think it is necessary to own all the DL DLC. It's not worth it, to me, to clutter up my HDD with content I'm not going to use or will use once or twice nd never touch again. There is also no point in deleting it too, since I've already bought it, so to delete it after spending the MS Points is quite pointless. I'm not getting the points back now, am I? Also, I'm VERY selective with my DLC. I pick DLC that will add something new to "my playstyle" (realistic, serious roleplay/ law enforcement). For instance, I currently RP as a detective in Steelport. What DLC benefits me then? Well, for one, the "Steelport Gangs Pack" was one DLC to make it to my Hard Drive. Does "GenkiBowl  VII" sound like it fits my "playstyle"? Hmm, watching scantily-dressed mascots chucking Yarn Balls down the streets of Steelport...yeeeeeeeeeeeeah, I don't think that is on my HDD.

My point, James, is that not everyone thinks having all the DLC is important. I simply played "Devil's advocate" and provided the other side of the argument (as I usually do) as it promotes greater discussion and does not just have one side.

My point is that you describe it like people are getting shafted by this packaged compilation. It's cheaper than the base game brand new, and you get all the DLC for free, without any obligation to use it at all. So in the case of a complete package game where you get it all for no extra cost, your argument is pointless.

"Shafted"? Not my point at all. I guess that's just my personal tone when it comes to DLC.

I do feel "shafted" by DLC, especially when they don't have something like this "packaged deal" come out right away. Hopefully that sounds more cheery.

Since getting the DLC off markeplace is such a nightmare, this is a good option.

/\/\ I agree. just bought it at best buy for $19.99, it was mistakenly priced. they honored it anyway. great deal, all the DLC is included. I was set to buy Far Cry 3 but noticed this lil thing in the corner with $19.99 tag so i pulled the trigger. been playing it since friday. good game. Like GTA, a but repetative at times but its ok with me, still lots of trouble to stir in Steel Port.

Saints Row The third didn't need a very detailed storyline; the point of it was to have fun and that's exactly what most of us did have...at least I know I got my fun out of it. Now to see if GTA V's tanks can crush vehicles ala SRTT...

I agree, SRTT could have had more depth to it. SR2 was bigger and deeper, but this one is just plain fun.

The main thing I disliked about SRTT, was the combined story for all the gangs... The story for SR2 and even SR1 was far better because while each gang had their own individual story, at the end they were all linked together in a way which worked very well. In SRTT it was just a mash together.

It seems like an an attempt to get a larger audience turned onto the series, which is a good thing considering how good the deal is.

Graphically, third is superior.... Except when you try to color something white.

Gameplay-wise, SR 2 is superior.
