When I use the URL (http://www.fox.com/activate) on Internet Explorer to activate the Fox app on my Xbox it keeps saying no results found. How can one activate the Fox app enter the code that is given to you, when the URL doesn't exist. HELP!
i have same problem
Sidein: I have Windows 8 Release Preview OS, IE 10 browser loaded and in use on my PC.' I talked with a rep on chat that said she was able to get the site and advised me to change browser. I did, went to Chrome with Yahoo, same results. I'm beginning to think the word "BETA" is a code word for Microsoft meaning trash. Because 3 or 4 things that I had problem with and posted on different forums, besides Xbox are still giving me fits and tried all the fixes. But if you could buy Microsoft points to fix this problem it would be done in a heartbeat. You can only run so many "sfc/scannow"s before you realize that the problems are on their end!
i am having the same problem
odds are the fox app wont work for you or most users because it only works with two service providers dish, and verizon
I have Dish but still have not been able to activate while trying 3 browser types.
If you have Windows 8 and are using it on your PC. Go to Fox.com and sign up for an account using your gamertag but enter a new password for Fox. Once that is done, go back to the Xbox and try to activate again (http://www.fox.com/activate). This time instead of showing no results it should show a log in page for you to access. If you don't get the log in page, whatever fox site you get there should be an URL in the bottom bar showing where your at. Replace that with the above URL, and it will take to the log in page. This worked for me!
