Re: Just what is herobrine?

I will be getting minecraft soon and ive beeen reading about it, and herobrine comes up a lot. i asked my friends what it was and they have no clue about it.

A myth, the bigfoot of Minecraft.

thats what i thought. if there is ever a change in 1 of my worlds that i didnt make, im blaming it on herobrine.

He is a mob that, IMO, I believe he exists in the Xbox 360 Edition of the game.

He basically lurks around Minecraft and doesn't get close to you and I've heard he steals stuff from your chest(s) as well.

A lot of non-believers are out there and I wouldn't doubt if one came on this thread, but it's like believing in Bigfoot or Slenderman; you either believe or you don't.

You can't compare real life myths to a myth that has been proven not to be CODED in to the game.

Can you show me proof he isn't coded into the game? Can you personally hack into the JavaScript on PC and let me know?

Or more related to this specific forum, can you show me the coding of the Xbox 360 Edition?

He's actually just a figure in minecraft pictures though.

I do think it's amusing how they input "removed Herobrine" in the patch notes sometimes, and the DLC skin. I mean, who wouldn't want to be creeping up on their friends in a herobrine skin?

The game was developed by 4J Studios, which means they could have added him.

So there is your proof that he is not in the game anymore if he ever was. Which he wasn't.

Like others have said, the "Herobrine removed" scandal is just a joke.

It is either to cover up his existence, or to play jokes on Minecraft players.

So you don't believe people when they say Herobrine is a myth but you will believe these same people  when they say "Herobrine removed" is just a joke.

Lol. All 4j has done is port the pc version of minecraft over from the pc. I've been playing minecraft for almost 2 years now and not once have I seen anything in-game to suggest that herobrine exists. Also, almost every single update on the pc says that herobrine was removed to troll the people that think it exists. People that know coding even went through the game code and saw nothing of it's existence.

How do any of you ever find the time to play minecraft-- or anything for that matter-- with how much time you waste arguing over such inconsequential, meaningless crap. Drop it already, I'm embarrassed for you.

Jesus leave it be. Herobrine is NOT real. Notch said he never placed him into the game and 4j has NO reason to include him. otherwise what would be the point in including a skin to look like him if he was in the game? (notice the creeper and zombie skins have acute differences from the actual mobs while hero brine looks like any picture you can find of him) He is not real. Never was. Get over it. Happy Mining!
