Re: Slime Help

Ok guys so i have a question, i used http://extension.ws/minecraft/slimes.html to find a supposed slime spawn chunk. I hollowed the chunk out completely with a ceiling 5 blocks high. It is lit up with normal torches and my z is Z: 28, I have heard that Z has to be below 16 but iv also heard that it has to be below 40, which is it? I'm wondering this cuz iv waited 5 mine craft days and no slimes have spawned yet. Does that slime finder not work on the 360, am I not deep enough, or is the slime spawn rate just really slow?

There are no Y's on that app, Y is the level above or below ground. You must dig down to bedrock, that's why Y's aren't used in that. Only dig it to the Specified X's and Z's make sure you're at bedrock and make it 3-4 blocks high. Also, when you locate chunks, go for the ones if there are multiple squares close together for a larger chance of them to spawn.

does it have to be bedrock or can it be just above it like on level 8?
