Minecraft saves

Everytime i save it saves my progress in the world, but the only thing that is missing up is everything in my inventory dissappers and it puts me at the spawn with only my map and shows that i haven't discovered the whole world yet.

I really want this to be fixed so i can play properly 

to make sure you don't loose everything put it in the box that can be made with 8 planks of wood, you can change your spawn point if you sleep in bed.

This is a known bug that 4J are working on, I understand.
