Billing violation payment options

Alright, so I didn't know the only way to pay was by credit card or PayPal and I set up my bank card (Northern Bank maestro) so that I could use it as a debit card to pay for stuff online and whatever thinking I could use it for paying the Live money I owe, I went to put my details in and found out you can only use cc/pp, is there no way the payment can just be taken from my bank account as if I'm buying something online? I waited 2 days to get my card set up and put the money in my account and I really cannot be bothered waiting even longer to make a PayPal that I'm never going to use again, there's bound to be a way the money can just be taken from my account...

    Do you mean a Debit card? Because if you mean you have a debit card from a bank, then that is useable for Xbox live. It works the same as a CC or PP. If you are having issues getting the balance taken care of, give support a phone call and they will be able to process the balance and get you squared away. There are more than 3 ways to take care of a balance. CC, Debit card (issued from bank), Pay Pal, or even a green dot or various other pre-paid VISA cards.

    It was just a normal bank card but I got it set up so it can be used as a debit card but when I try to add the card details to my payment options it only gives me the choice of credit card or paypal, I tried putting the card details in under credit card but it just keeps asking me to enter a valid card number, where/how do you do it? :S

    bank cards are only supported in certain regions

    suggestion paypal accepts bank accounts why not use that

    Ok so I tried to add a new PayPal (do you not have to set up a PP account?) but when I click the yellow button that says pay with PayPal it takes me to a white page saying this "Microsoft is committed to helping protect your privacy. For more information, read the Privacy Statement." below that there is a next and a cancel button, it will allow me to open the statement but the next/cancel buttons do nothing at all... so I can't progress to add the details...

    MS knows about the Pay Pal issue. There has been an issue trying to get Pay-Pal added to accounts for a couple days now. How many digits are you putting in when placing your CC on the account? CC's have to be 16 digits. If YOU cannot add the card, call MS and have them add the card on the account.

    Hey there Brent! Can you walk me through exactly how you tried to add your Paypal account? Are you trying to add it from your Account page, or during the transaction?

    I tried to do it from the page that showed me the card details I was using, along the bottom it had 'pay with PayPal' and add a new card or something but it's alright, I got the PayPal sorted out but I forgot to turn auto renewal off first and they took a 3rd months money so I just need to figure out if I can get the month cancelled and get the money back or something (I bought a 3 month prepaid the other day) >.> lol

    Ok so it says whenever i try to connect to xbox live it says i have a PAYMENT VIOLATION. I use an American Express debit card. And when i tryed to add a prepaid xbox 12 month code card it gave an error code. What do i do?
