A mi me ocurre lo mismo que comenta el usuario anterior, me han quitado todos los niveles y me han dejando a cero. todo cero menos los logros. quisiera saber quien puede ayudarme a conocer lo que ha ocurrido.  Le agradecería mucho si me dieran usa solución. gracias

Hey guys, what kind of memory device are you using with your Xbox 360 currently? Also, when exactly did this progress go missing? Was this after turning off the console, mid-game, or between game modes?

I said this in my post about it.  I have been connecting directly from a modem since my router recently died on me.  I go through a routine where I test the connection then I play.  I got connected yesterday afternoon but it was running really slow and I had to test the connection a couple times before it worked (unusual)  Seemed like I had internet but it wouldn't connect to whatever servers Gears of War 3 Runs on but it let me get to playlists after a few minutes of trying to connect and then it said level 1, no ribbons, unlocks, anything.  I got on an hour later when the connection with Xbox live was running smoothly and it didn't revert back to ~34 +Progression unlocks.  

Nothing is wrong with the memory device.  20GB hard drive hasn't been disconnected from the xbox.

Same happened to me TWICE NOW!! I am so angry I have got to rank 36 first then got reset... happened again when I was rank 39! I still have my Kantus and Superstar Cole on but if I change the  character I will lose them. I have my onyx medal + achievements but I am rank 1?!? I have my skins too.

I just lost all my progress today:

Medals, ribbons, kills/deaths ratio, wins/losses/level 24 to level 1, characters, game progression on insane, collectibles too.

This is the first time this has happened to me and I just made my profile an Xbox LIVE one, It is also a 320 gig Gears console, I AM NOT HAPPY!!

Hey guys, I would like to make sure this information gets to the appropriate team, but I will need the following information to do so:

1) What was lost. Campaign progress? Online progress? Please detail the specific changes. If you lost your online rank, please include your previous rank.
2) What have you tried to resolve the issue specifically? Have you:
a) Removed the memory device?
b) Cleared the cache?
c) Recovered your Gamertag?
d) Tried a troubleshooting step not listed above? 
3) Did anything change in your setup during this time? Have you put your Gamertag on a USB device? Changed memory devices? Powered down the console without exiting to the dashboard first?

And of course, any other information you think/want to include will be nothing but helpful. Thanks for the above details guys--the sooner we can get this info to the appropriate team, the sooner we can work toward a resolution.  

Same thing happened to me twice now.  I think I figured out how to trigger it.  Both times it happened was when my friend signed in on controller two while the game was loading.  All progress gets lost, but anything already unlocked does not go away.  For example, if you needed one more cog for an award, it goes back to zero.

Same exact thing happened to me, and I didn't do anything but sign in and launch gears. Lost all progress on my campaign, all metals/ribbons, all characters ( even though I was still using Carmine and Theron at lvl 1 when I was level 35) k/d ratio, matches won, all unlocked skins and executions. I've done everything on your list and copied my gears saved data to different locations ( I.e memory card, hard drive, m.u ) nothing has worked. I am highly upset :/

I lost all my online progress,  all metals/ribbons, all characters, matches lose/won, all unlocked skins and executions, etc. For example there is an avatar´s present unlocked when you win "Welcome to Horde Mode", now I have the achievement but not the present.

When I lost my progress I was playing and there was a fall of Xbox live service for maintenance. (This happened 03-October-2011; Spain). My Xbox was left frozen and when I reset it I had lost my progress.

I have my Gamertag in hard drive. I try to recover GAmertag and that not work.

I forget to put this, when I lost my online progress I was level 21.

This same issue happened to me after I converted a previous account into an Xbox Live account. I wanted to check the Event Calendar, so I went to dashboard and did the conversion process. When I finished, I restarted the game to look at the calendar.

All Unlocked Character, My level 17 rank, weapon skins, medals, and ribbons were gone. I however retained my Campaign data, which is on the very last level (which I beat, but the game no longer acknowledges).

I tried typical things like sign out and back in, restart game, restart Xbox. I have not messed with any of the data cache or the hard drive itself because it isn't mine to poke around in.

EDIT UPDATE: Also I'd like to note I still have all achievements for the things that I did do. (Beat the game, reach levels, gain collectibles, etc.)
