Re: Can't connect to Xbox Live Party

Try to remove the friend or friends you cannot connect with and send them another friend request. I could not connect with my friend who lives just on the other side of town for months now and I just tried it and we could join up instantly.

Ok can we get someone who knows what their talking about to help us? It's not our NAT's I bet we all checked that first thing. Its been happening for a couple weeks now and its only with ONE of my friends.

Please say something other than NAT problems. mine and my friends are both open and i get the same problem. Say anything other than NAT.

Hey everyone! As with other threads of this nature, too many folks are simply popping in with "same issue". In order for us to help you all out properly, we need you all to create your own threads describing your issue as well as detailing any steps you have already tried.

I'm also aware that everyone isn't happy with the NAT answer, but we need you to try these steps before we can test anything else. Even if you haven't changed anything and it previously worked, try restarting your modem and/or router, or even reset it to factory defaults, and set the NAT back up. Please include this in your post.

You can get possible steps in our Communication and NAT guides. Please include requested information in your post as well.

I'm having the same problem. Can't connect to my friends, but i can play alone. IT IS NOT A NAT PROBLEM.  For serious Microsoft, *** your NAT solution. For the 1000th time, IT. DOES. NOT. WORK. SO.... lets do like major corperations do and... actually get the problem fixed? Like.. Number 1 problem, here it is. Fix. It. Now.

thanks MS, you managed to break something that was working before!!! I want my money back for my GOLD subscription! Why am I paying for something that you are not even FIXING!

I can't join one either... i've checked my connection and it's fine, my friends connection is fine too...

I can't join any parties either. I feel so lonely and empty inside. :(

This has been happening a lot lately, I too live in Oklahoma, and my friend who moved to Florida is having the same connection problem when trying to open a chat, or start a party. Its ONLY his Oklahoma friends; so I'm unsure of what is causing this. We're both pretty network and computer smart, everything is good on our end; up to you Microsoft. We're waiting.

Waiting is about to go on almost 2 months now.

So any  new info on this from our helpful support staff?
