Netflix freezes/Black screen.

Today I purchased one of the new Xboxs to replace my old one because of hardware and software issues(Thanks alot Microsoft "updates").

When using Netflix it sometimes takes longer than usual to begin streaming a movie, and almost every time I watch a movie or show at some point the screen will go black and my xbox will not respond.  When this happens the only way to fix it s to shut off the xbox by the power button, but sometimes I have to unplug it.

This same thing was happening on my  old gen 1 Xbox 360. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the appropriate files, as well as clearing memory cache and removing the harddrive.

I really enjoy playing Xbox, and have always been a loyal Microsoft fan. This being said, due to these REPEATING issues I am starting to question why I keep paying for Xbox Live and Xbox hardware just for it to ALWAYS have some sort of problem.

Any help for this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm having the same issue pretty much, I can start/watch/finish anything on Netflix but once its over or I want to back out it just goes to a black screen and never backs out. This started on my old xbox before buying the FF XII Ed. Xbox. Done the file transfer from HDD to HDD, and kept my Netflix bug. I've removed and reinstalled updated blah blah to never be able to enjoy Netflix now without knowing I'm going to eventually have to reboot the xbox.

    I have the same exact issue.  If i connect via ethernet cable it works fine. Wireless results in a black screen and full lock up.  I have to cold boot the system.  Netflix says its MS,  MS says its Netflix.  Customer says its BS.  My Android is playing Netflix fine and so is wii.  Also other videos work fine on this 360.  No matter really.  I'm slowly moving away from console gaming...

    I dont  know about what going on with yours but I have been having the same problem fro a month and I noticed fallout freezes in the same fashion....or when I want to delete some demos or content from My hard drive it takes for everFOR THE HARD DRIVE TO SHOW ME WHAT ON MY HARD DRIVE. I am going to clear my cache and see what happens

    This has been happening for almost a year now, at first b4 the new system update it would go black but would be able to hear audio... what i did to fix it then i would change inputs but it would work fine once it went back  to watch my show it was fine. Know it goes black i try my old trick but nothing! i get the temporary title u available more then ever ! I even tried  my luck once i get the show working and changing  inputs it would say the same thing!  So far Youtube has been working fine no issues! So is it Netflix? Microsoft? Need and answer for us paying!
