YouTube App not working?

I have the same problem. We can watch maybe a total of 5 min of YouTube, then it goes into buffering, which it never comes out of, and when going back to the main menu, everything is blank. This is really irritating and it's too bad, we thought it would be great to view YouTube  on xbox....

I have the same exact problem. starts to "buffer" and never comes out of it, then going back out everything is blank. Its downright broken.

I put "buffer" in quotes cause i have a 50 megabit(about 6.3 megabytes) a second connection

I have had the same issue.... I believe in my opinion that it is an app issue I can watch 30-45 mins of videos and then "the cache" is filled and not released from the console. Please fix the app. Thanks

I know doing port triggering does help it slightly in my case, it seems to not be AS "sticky"(subscription will pop in more % of the time) ill clear my cache as it seems all my games have been RE updating themselves anyway >.>

all channels on youtube just dont work, completely blank, this has happened a few weeks ago.

For users still reporting this issue, can you please verify you've tried Chris 21's steps?

Yes I tried Chris 21s steps. Multiple times. To no avail.

Does not fix the problem. Thing is, this started happening about 3 weeks ago. Never happened before and it's been broken ever since.

umm so i finnaly found this thread but it seems there is still no answer to the problem. i have tryed chris21s answer but it didn't fix the issue is anyone looking in to this? the link to youtube support provided in the app support page is also broken. i have high speed internet. i can stream netflix no problem also i can stream music and video from my computer i have an open nat. this issue seems to only be a youtube thing but i cant find and support from them either. this thread has been open for over a month the suggested answer can lick my balls it dosent work

Having read over this thread, I'm afraid that the issue appears to be with the app itself, and not with the LIVE service. If you aren't experiencing issues installing or booting app, and if you don't have an issue with other apps besides Youtube, then you'll want to contact Youtube Help for assistance with this in-app issue.
