Netflix keeps freezing on me

What app are you trying to use? NETFLIX

Are you receiving an error code or message? no just freezes on 7 or 8 percent. (after reinstall its buffering at 7 percent but it seems it wont load the video.)

What kind of audio/video connections are you using? hdmi

What have you tried? clear cache, uninstall reinstall. formated harddrive

i can play netflix on my ps3 even the wii. so i do not think its my internet.

also replaced my 250g HD with my old 20g HD downloaded profile and installed netflix same issue. so it a hardware problem?

it work like 1 or 2 times out of the 30 or 40 times ive tired then i have to reset the console from freezing. but for the most part now its still stuck at 7% other times it hits 7% then goes back to dashboard now (which is new). i played hulu plus today with out any problems. so im thinking it has to be netflix itself. as for hbogo i am re-downloading it now. ill let you know.

I am having this same problem, but no one knows how to help me either

took my xbox to my friends house to see if it was just my internet....and it still froze at 7%. directly connected and wireless. it has to be the app.

i figured it out!!!!!!! no thanks to Microsoft support!

1.go into your memory unit and find netflix...and instead of deleting the whole netflix file delete the save game data on it (i had 2 game save data) DO NOT delete the netflix app or the new update. and it will work

i am still having issues..i can get it to work by doing ^^^ what i did above but i have to do it constantly which is not worth it. other people are having the same issue with netflix. mircosoft should un-update the neflix app.

Hey, ImpliedWord. Very sorry to hear you're still having issues. When you say you have to do it constantly, what exactly does that mean? Do you need to remove the save every time you load the app? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app since you removed the save file? Thanks for the clarification.

yes i do have to remove the netflix save everytime it freezes. i tried uninstall..reinstall. ill try it again tonight see how it goes..one thing ive noticed it doesnt ask me to activte the xbox on netflix anymore. it just says login on the xbox could that be the issue? seems other people on the xbox fourms are having similar issues.

nope its hanging at 49% but i can access the dashboard...this hanging seems to be the corruption save problem. when i load it back up and play something it freezes at 7 or 9%. im really disappointed this is the reason why i pay 60 bucks for xboxlive and it doesnt even work. and no one seems to know what the problem is.

i have already done what you said before...even xbox twitter support stopped talking to me because they are stumped.
