Xbox live is working Perfectly Fine for me, so i don't think there is a problem with the Xbox live service

Please could you run  a Speed Test and post your result?

I am having exactly the same issue and also does my son. Completing a Live test on the consoles and both failing at xbox live

ping - 21ms

dl speed - 25.55mbps

upload speed - 1.95mbps

Ping - 41ms

DL - 61.69mbps

up- 2.81mbps

All other devices like Mob phone etc all connect fine so no ISP issue

I'm having the same issue for the past hour.

ping - 20ms

dl - 21.89 mps

Everything else (pc, phone) is working fine.

iv tried EVERYTHING, different cables, resetting the router/modem for different lengths of time, swapping cables, restoring settings.

So it must come down to a problem with live, but the most confusing thing is iv got friends online, one of them lives less than 100 yards away and is using the same ISP as me :S

ive tried both wired and wireless

Please could you both reset your routers?

And then retry to connect to xbox live.

READ!!! after about an hour of these issues, i restarted connection test 3 times in a row and on the last one it connected, have a go at this guys

Im also getting problems connecting, ping 89   d/load  15.04 Mbps   u/load  1.88 Mbps. Ill try the reset of the modem again and see what happens.

Please can you reset your router Silver Knight and then retry to connect to Xbox Live
