I have to admit, this is the first time I've heard of this. Do you have issues connected with a ethernet cable with the HDMI display cable used?

i have no problem when using ethernet, but because it kind of inconvenient at my place i prefer to use wireless.
I've seen this once, someone on our forum reported it, they fixed it by replacing the HDMI cable not sure if it was replaced with a different make or the same.

Is your TV connected via wifi as well? I'm thinking there is a relationship between your TV's wireless connectivity and the Xbox. Could you try turning off the wifi adapter on the TV and see if your console is then able to connect?
