I can't purchase points. I keep getting the error: "Your payment instrument could not be authorized. Please contact your provider, or try a different payment option."
My payment information is valid, it works elsewhere. I've tried adding new cards, get the same error.
I've read http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/12/t/19164.aspx and http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/27/t/32.aspx. It doesn't apply.
There is nothing wrong with my billing information. I also have a zune pass tied to this live id and am able to make purchases on my Windows phone 7 and through the zune marketplace without issue, using the same credit card. I've also checked billing.microsoft.com and the payment options show up as valid.
